Ripley Carroll is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Principal at Telescope Partners, Ripley focuses on investing in exceptional entrepreneurs building B2B technology companies. As a Venture Partner at Contrary Capital since January 2016, Ripley supports a select group of exceptional individuals and their ventures from seed to scale. Previously, as Principal at Stripes from September 2017 to September 2024, Ripley contributed to building the firm’s B2B Technology and Healthcare focus areas while maintaining a global perspective. As a Cofounder of Tandem Medical from August 2016 to September 2017, Ripley was involved in transforming internal hospital communications. Additionally, Ripley served as President of the Virginia Venture Fund from August 2013 to May 2017. Ripley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, specializing in Finance and Information Technology.
