Andrés Martell is an accomplished design and strategy leader with extensive experience in innovation and urban design. Currently serving as the Design Futures Team Lead at Connected Places Catapult since May 2021, Andrés focuses on futures thinking and speculative design. Previously, as Lead of the Regenerative Urban Design Practice at The Berkeley Innovation Group, efforts centered on revitalizing vacant spaces post-pandemic using regenerative design principles. With a background in facilitating design sprints for various organizations, Andrés has also contributed to master planning healthy living environments at Godrej Properties Limited and taught graduate coursework at the University of California, Berkeley. A former Marine and founder of Vin Ambassador, Andrés combines diverse experiences in business development, innovation strategy, and immersive experiences across multiple sectors and geographies. Educational credentials include an MBA and a Master's in Real Estate Development + Design from UC Berkeley, complemented by exchange programs in international business.
