Arushan Mahendrakumar is an experienced professional in the field of digital engineering and construction, currently serving as the Digital Construction Capacity Building Lead at Connected Places Catapult since May 2024. Previously, Arushan held various roles at Asite from November 2018 to May 2024, including Product Lead for Digital Engineering, where key achievements included establishing a BIM and Digital Twin strategy and increasing revenue through new advisory services. Arushan's earlier experience includes roles as a Geotechnical Engineer and Pavement Engineer at CH2M, where successful optimization of design and rigorous data analysis were demonstrated. Additionally, Arushan served as a Site Engineer at Galliford Try, managing site activities for significant construction projects. Arushan holds a 1st Class (Hons) Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, along with a background in applied mathematics and A Levels in relevant sciences.
