Kirsty Murphy MBE MEng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aviation and leadership roles. Currently serving as Accelerator Programme Manager and Team Lead for Executive Office and Business Performance at Connected Places Catapult since April 2022, Kirsty previously held significant positions in the UK Space Agency, including Chief of Staff and Head of Secretariat. Kirsty’s background includes being a Pilot in the Royal Air Force, where notable achievements include serving as the first female Red Arrows pilot and instruction roles in fast jet training. Additionally, Kirsty has experience as an Aviation Ambassador for the Department for Transport, focusing on diversity and inclusivity in aviation. Kirsty holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
