Amir Nejad

Amir Nejad, PhD, is a highly experienced data scientist with a robust background in petroleum engineering and a focus on data-driven solutions. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at ConocoPhillips and a Blogger at Medium, Amir has previously held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at WDVG|L Petroleum Engineering Laboratories and CARBO, where significant contributions included managing data studies for over 50 clients, optimizing hydraulic fracturing treatments, and developing innovative data modeling workflows. Amir holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. Notable achievements include the invention of a patented data analysis method and the creation of a Python-based ETL tool for data processing.
