Michelle González

Michelle González is a seasoned audit professional with extensive experience in the field of accounting and auditing. Currently serving as a SOX Auditor at ConocoPhillips since July 2022, Michelle previously held positions as an Internal Auditor at Oxy and a Senior Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where skills were developed further through roles as an Audit Associate and Assurance Intern. Michelle's early career includes internships at BMC Software and Grant Thornton LLP, as well as additional experience with the Duke University Talent Identification Program and the General Consulate of Guatemala. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics with a focus on Accounting from Austin College.
