Robert Miyashiro

Robert Miyashiro is a seasoned professional in international programs and public health with extensive experience in grant management and disease eradication efforts. Currently serving as Program Officer at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation since September 2013, Robert has directed over $13 million in annual grant allocations and developed the Refugee Initiative strategy, which secured a $25 million annual programming portfolio. Prior roles include Program Associate at The Carter Center, where Robert led disease surveillance in South Sudan and maximized operational efficiency in challenging environments. Robert also contributed to the California Department of Public Health as a Trainer/Quality Assurance Specialist, enhancing user training and data accuracy. With a Master of Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from UC Berkeley, Robert has a solid educational foundation that supports a career dedicated to improving health outcomes and community engagement.
