Julius Court

Julius Court serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Conservation International since March 2023, bringing extensive experience from various leadership roles in the UK government and international development. Notable positions include Deputy High Commissioner and Development Director from August 2020 to March 2023, and Head of DFID Kenya from April 2018 to August 2020, where Julius Court led significant development initiatives. Prior roles in the UK government included heading the Prosperity Fund and managing DFID Ethiopia, focusing on socio-economic improvements in partnership with diverse stakeholders. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor of Arts from UCL, complemented by executive education at the London Business School.
