Eric Saida is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in data privacy, regulatory matters, and commercial litigation. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Consumer Data Industry Association since January 2021, Eric has held various influential positions at LexisNexis Risk Solutions since March 2006, including Deputy General Counsel and VP, overseeing legal aspects of transactions, particularly in compliance with the FCRA and international data privacy laws, as well as managing significant M&A activities exceeding $2 billion. Previously, Eric worked as a Senior Attorney at Equifax Marketing Services focusing on privacy law and contracts, and held associate roles at prominent law firms including Duane Morris LLP, Baker & McKenzie, and Bilzin Sumberg, specializing in various litigation areas. Eric holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Brandeis University.

The Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) is the voice of the consumer reporting industry, representing consumer reporting agencies including the nationwide credit bureaus, regional and specialized credit bureaus, background check companies, and others. Founded in 1906, CDIA promotes the responsible use of consumer data to help consumers achieve their financial goals, and to help businesses, governments and volunteer organizations avoid fraud and manage risk.
