Doug Heller is the Director of Insurance at the Consumer Federation of America since February 2022 and operates Douglas Heller Consulting as a Consumer Advocate and Non-Profit/Public Sector Consultant since June 2013. With two decades of experience in consumer advocacy and non-profit leadership, Doug Heller is a recognized expert in insurance and civil lawsuits. Additionally, Heller serves as a member of the Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance and as a Public Member on the California Automobile Assigned Risk Plan Advisory Board, providing oversight on low-cost auto insurance programs for low-income Californians.
