Chuck Bell

Programs Director, Advocacy at Consumer Reports

Chuck Bell has extensive experience in advocacy and program management within consumer protection and environmental sectors. As Programs Director for Advocacy at Consumer Reports since June 1989, Chuck Bell focuses on a variety of issues, particularly health care and financial services, while leading grant-funded projects and collaborations. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the Community Economic Stabilization Corporation and Research Analyst at Northwest Environmental Advocates, where efforts concentrated on employee ownership and environmental advocacy, respectively. Chuck Bell also served as Executive Director for the Oregon Fellowship of Reconciliation, emphasizing peace and human rights, and worked as Distribution Coordinator for the Oregon Food Bank. Educational background includes studies in International Business at Columbia University, an MBA program at Willamette University, a BA in Political Science from Antioch University Seattle, and partial completion of a BA at Reed College.
