Michael Pasacrita

Michael Pasacrita has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael is currently working as an Associate Director of Web Development at Consumer Reports since September 2016. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they served as the Director and Lead GUI Architect at Numerix.

From 2013 to 2014, Michael worked as the Chief Architect at Entitle Direct Group, Inc. Michael implemented advanced software development techniques and designed integrated systems with seamless user experience. Michael also focused on delivering architectural initiatives aligned with business strategy.

Before that, they worked at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a Technical Development Lead, mentoring developers and documenting project architectures. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Software Engineer at Fairway Financial LLC, where they developed UI, services, and reporting for a portfolio management software platform.

Michael's career began in 2001 with an internship at the Wildlife Conservation Society, followed by a web development internship at the New York Yankees in 2000. Michael also gained valuable experience at the Yorktown Central School District in 2004, serving as a Technology Analyst. In 2003, they worked as a Pre-production Programmer at IBM.

Michael Pasacrita started their education at Yorktown High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1996 to 2000. After graduating from high school, they attended Quinnipiac University from 2000 to 2004. During their time at Quinnipiac, they pursued two degrees simultaneously, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Interactive Digital Design. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael continued their education at Pace University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science.
