Filip Van Aken is an experienced professional in industrial automation solutions with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Functional Unit Manager at Contec since July 2012, Filip has also held roles as Project Manager, Task Force Manager, and Project Engineer. Prior to Contec, Filip worked as Project Leader for execution of building techniques at Ingenium nv, overseeing various systems including electricity, HVAC, and fire safety from November 2011 to June 2012. Earlier experience includes a position at CONTEC as PC&IS Engineer and Construction Follow-up from January 2009 to October 2011, focusing on power, control, and information systems. Filip holds a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology, obtained between 2003 and 2008, and further education from Amelior in 2019-2020.
