Dong Qiu

Dong QIU has extensive experience in the electric vehicle and battery safety sectors, currently serving as a Senior Battery Pack Manager and Energy Storage Product Manager at 宁德时代CATL since March 2014. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing the safety development of lithium-ion battery packs, focusing on functional, electrical, mechanical, and chemical safety. Prior to this, Dong QIU worked at PSA Peugeot Citroën from July 2010 to February 2014, where responsibilities included defining RAMS requirements for powertrain electrical parts, managing supplier safety documentation, and providing functional safety training. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Fuel Cell Engineer at General Motors, emphasizing safety management for fuel cell vehicles. Dong QIU holds a Master's degree in Vehicle Engineering from Tongji University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Tsinghua University.
