Heather Ansorge

Heather Ansorge is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Program Management and Product Lead at Context Therapeutics since February 2025, while also holding the position of VP of Program and Portfolio Management at Carisma Therapeutics since September 2023. Previously, Heather worked at Merck as Director of Strategic Alliances from November 2020 to September 2023, and at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. as an Alliance Manager from April 2019 to November 2020. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where Heather was Sr. Director of Alliance and Contract Management and held various directorships pertaining to alliance and program management in the Gene Therapy Program. Heather earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania from January 2004 to January 2010, with a thesis focused on tendon healing, and a BS in Biological Engineering from Cornell University from January 1998 to January 2002, which included an honor's thesis on the mechanical characteristics of bones in a knockout mouse model.
