Robert Hagens

Bob has 37 years of experience and is a respected leader in the upstream oil and gas industry. Over the years, he has engaged in all levels of leadership within Land, Land Administration and Regulatory.

Bob started his career as a Landman with ARCO in Midland, Texas. Bob held positions of increasing responsibility across multiple offices within the lower 48 and Alaska with ARCO and its subsidiaries. Shortly following the merger with BP in 2000, Bob assumed the position of U.S. Onshore Land Manager with BP. He has spent the last 15 years as VP and SVP of Land for Pioneer Natural Resources. Bob holds a degree in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
