Sean Flynn

Sean Flynn is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of HSE at Continental Resources since June 2019, Sean has previously held leadership positions at Marathon Oil Corporation, including Health, Environment, Safety & Regulatory Manager and Corporate Environmental Manager, where responsibilities included managing HES&R teams and defining corporate environmental strategies. Earlier roles include HES Auditing Manager at Marathon Petroleum Corporation and Senior Attorney at Marathon Oil Company. Sean holds a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, a Master's degree in Earth and Environmental Resource Management from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from The College of Wooster.
