Marco Smit is a seasoned IP Counsel and Patent Attorney with extensive experience in European and Dutch patent law. Currently serving at Continental since July 2018, Marco has previously held roles at Dennemeyer Group, Ferrarius IP, and Octrooibureau Vriesendorp & Gaade, among others. With an educational background that includes degrees in Physics and Business Administration, Marco has developed a robust foundation in intellectual property management and consultancy. This expertise is complemented by various roles in research and project management at institutions such as KPN Research and TNO Telecom.
