Loic Chappaz is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in the space industry. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Continuum Space Systems since April 2021, Loic previously held multiple roles at Mandala Space Ventures, including Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, and Mission Design Lead, from October 2016 to April 2021. As the Founder of Space Exploration Solutions, Loic provided technical analysis for space exploration challenges from January 2016 to October 2016. Earlier experience includes internships at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and various roles at Purdue University, where Loic completed a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Educational credentials also include a Master's degree from Purdue University and a Diplome d'Ingénieur from Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile.
