Rama Sambatur is an Application Engineer at Control Southern since September 2021, focusing on developing innovative final-control solutions for various industrial applications within the Southeast region. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in Dr. Mark Prausnitz's lab at Georgia Tech, where methods for trans-scleral drug delivery were invented and microneedle structures designed. An Engineering Intern position at Yokogawa involved generating North American pharmaceutical sales leads and contributing to renewable energy initiatives. Additional roles at Georgia Tech involved event planning for the Residential Hall Council and research on pharmaceutical reagents. Rama holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
