Mike Brown

Mike Brown currently serves as the New Product Delivery Lead at Convatec, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Mike took a career break from August to October 2023. Mike's extensive experience at Smith+Nephew spanned over 36 years, where various positions included Director of Advanced Wound Care NPD and Materials Science, and Programme Director of New Product Development. Responsibilities included managing teams of 20 to 25 professionals, overseeing significant budgets, and driving successful product launches in the advanced wound care sector. Mike began the career as a Quality Assurance Technician and progressed through roles in Technical Leadership and Project Management. Academically, Mike holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Managing Medical Device Innovation from the Scandinavian International Management Institute and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Hull.
