Matt Wright has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matt started their career in 2011 as an Applications Consultant at Campbell Scientific Canada, where they worked on instrumentation and IoT projects across North America. Matt then moved on to roles such as Design Consultant at EPSRC, Ethnographic Researcher at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Design Thinking Workshop Facilitator at Cranfield University.
In 2015, Matt joined Unilever as a Design Consultant, where they developed frameworks and designed conceptual systems to promote circular principles. Matt also worked as a Lead Consultant (Contract) at Cisco, collaborating with other organizations on developing circular economy principles for diagnostic imaging equipment.
In 2016, Matt joined Acuva Technologies Inc. as the Manager of Market Development, where they developed the go-to-market strategy for a water purification technology. Matt also assisted in investor engagement for Series A investment.
Matt's most recent roles include Director of Behavioral Science at Conversion and Head of Behavioral Science, North America at GO Group Digital, where they apply their expertise in behavioral science.
Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated their skills in market development, strategic planning, research, and creating innovative solutions.
Matt Wright earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with Honours, from the University of Alberta between 2007 and 2011. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued a Masters of Design degree (MSc) at Cranfield University, specializing in the School of Management and Centre for Design.
