Sharon Walter

Sharon Walter has extensive experience in internal auditing, particularly within the insurance sector. As the Head of Operational Internal Audit at Convex Insurance since October 2019, Sharon has previously held senior positions such as Senior Internal Audit Director at AXA XL and XL Catlin. Career progression includes roles at Grant Thornton LLP as Senior Manager, and various positions at Catlin, PwC, and Baker Tilly, beginning as a Chartered Accountant trainee. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool, alongside certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW).
