Currently serving as Customer Services Manager at Conway Corporation since August 1999, Daniel has previously operated as the Proprietor of Daniel A. Allen, CPA - Financial Planning from April 1997 to September 1999. Daniel began a significant role as Internal Auditor at Thurston County Auditor's Office, where the internal audit function was established. As the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager for Thurston County from August 1984 to November 1996, Daniel managed a team of over six staff and led 35 accounting personnel across 20 county departments. Daniel's career in auditing began at the Division of Legislative Audit in the State of Alaska, where responsibilities included the role of Supervisory In-Charge Auditor from July 1976 to August 1984. Conway Corp operates the city-owned electric, water, wastewater, cable television, internet, telephone and home security utility services for the citizens of Conway, Arkansas. We have been a part of the Conway community since 1929 when the Conway City Council first franchised the corporation to operate the city's electric light plant. The water department was placed under Conway Corp's operation in 1930. The wastewater was added in 1957 and the cable system in 1980. Conway Corp is extremely proud of the work we do for the citizens of Conway, and we are just as proud of the people who do that work. We feel our personnel are some of the most dedicated and professional individuals any company could hope to employ.
