Jordyn Ransom is a dedicated professional with experience in shareholder program coordination and cultural education within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Shareholder Programs Coordinator and previously as a Shareholder Programs Intern at Cook Inlet Region, Inc. since August 2021, Jordyn has actively contributed to organizing cultural connection workshops and camps for high school students focused on Alaska Native heritage. Jordyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Anthropology from Santiago Canyon College.

It is one of 12 Alaska-based regional corporations established by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971 to benefit Alaska Natives who had ties to the Cook Inlet region. The Company is owned by more than 8,500 shareholders of Athabascan and Southeast Indian, Inupiat, Yup'ik, Alutiiq/Sugpiaq and Aleut/Unangax descent.
