Robert E. Harris

Robert E. Harris served as the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Municipality of Anchorage, overseeing the departments of Finance, Treasury, Purchasing, Controller’s Office, Payroll, Information Technology, and the Municipal Assessor’s Office. Previously, he managed an engineering group at CH2M, and before that was president and CEO of Controls Engineering Inc. Harris was a regional coordinator/educational counselor for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Educational Council and previously served on the boards of the Anchorage Community Development Authority, Anchorage Youth Symphony Association, Child Family Health International and the International Association for Cold Region Development Studies. He currently serves as a trustee of the CIRI Settlement Trust, and has served on the CIRI board since 2011.
