Robert Hockel has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert started their career at Marriott International as a General Manager and worked there for 12 years. In 2001, they joined Virtua Health, where they held various positions including Administrative Director of Operations, Assistant Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Operations, Vice President Ambulatory Services and Development, and Vice President/Site Administrator. During their time at Virtua Health, they oversaw the operations of a regional medical center, managed the development of new health and wellness centers, and achieved significant growth in volume and revenue. In 2017, Hockel joined Cooper University Health Care as the Vice President Strategic Operations and later became the Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations in June 2018.
Robert Hockel completed an Associate in Science degree in Business Administration from Penn State University in the years 1986 to 1988. Robert then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2003. Finally, they achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Saint Joseph's University between 2005 and 2006.
