Ariel Cruz

Ariel Cruz, MSME, PE, LSSBB, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product and process development across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Product and Process Engineer at CooperVision since May 2019, Ariel is integral to the Global Technical Innovations Group, focusing on technology transfer and product line relocation in manufacturing operations throughout the Americas. Previous roles include Process Support Supervisor/Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer at Nypro, where responsibilities encompassed manufacturing engineering tests and yield analysis. As a Mechanical Engineer at Stantec, design and specification of HVAC systems was a key focus. Earlier experience as a Modeling Specialist at Infotech Aerospace Services involved creating numerical models for jet engine design. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del Turabo.
