Dara Ward

Dara Ward, CEM, REP, serves as the Director of Global Sustainability at CoorsTek, Inc. since October 2021, overseeing sustainability initiatives across Europe, Asia, and the USA, with a focus on energy efficiency, waste management, and GHG emissions reductions. Previously, Dara held positions at Xcel Energy as Corporate Sustainability Manager and Commercialization Manager, driving clean energy solutions and renewable analytics. Experience also includes leadership roles in the St. Vrain Valley School District, the Environmental Defense Fund, and the National Wildlife Federation, emphasizing energy efficiency and climate advocacy. Dara's early career involved consulting for major corporations while contributing to academic programs at Columbia University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration focused on International Energy Management & Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University.
