Hugo Aquino

Hugo Aquino has a strong background in IT and infrastructure services. Hugo started their career as a Systems Specialist at TMN de México in 2000, where they specialized in TeMIP and Metrica support. Hugo then moved on to Cable & Wireless Panama in 2002, where they held various roles including Systems Administrator, Customer Support Manager, and Customer Support Vice-President. In these positions, they were responsible for daily operations, budget management, and strategy definition. Since 2016, Aquino has been working as the IT Director - Infrastructure Services and Operations at Copa Airlines.

Hugo Aquino has a diverse educational background. Hugo obtained a B.Sc. in Telecommunications and Computer Science from Instituto Politécnico Nacional in 2000. Hugo later pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2003 to 2005. In 2010, they completed an M.B.A. with a specialization in Finance and Service Management from the same institution. In the following years, Hugo obtained various diplomas from ADEN Business School, focusing on Commercial Direction, Management Skills, and Directive Skills.

Continuing their education, in 2012, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management from the Swiss Business School. In 2013, they pursued a Diploma in Strategic Management from ADEN Business School. Furthermore, they specialized in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching, earning an Especialización en Docencia Superior from Universidad Internacional de Ciencia y Tecnología in 2016.

Hugo Aquino also holds multiple certifications. Notable ones include being a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and a Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate. Hugo has also completed various courses and obtained certifications in areas such as Cloud Computing, DevOps, Agile Project Management, Software Engineering, and Data Science. Hugo continues to expand their knowledge and skills, with certifications and courses obtained as recently as 2023.
