Juan Dames has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Juan started their career as the General Manager at Global Shipping Agencies from May 1995 to November 2004. Following this, they worked as a College Professor at Universidad Latina de Panamá from April 2000 to August 2005. Juan then joined Universidad del Istmo Panamá as a College Professor in November 2004 until March 2006. Juan also worked as a Consultant at CONADES-BID Proyecto de Desarrollo Sostenible de Chiriquí from September 2005 to March 2006. Currently, they hold the position of Director Engineering & Planning Tech Ops at Copa Airlines since March 2006.
Juan Dames completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida in 1991. Juan then obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the same university in 1993. Later, in 1997, Juan earned a Master of Business Administration degree from ULACIT.
