Steen Thomsen is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur, currently serving as co-founder and board member of The Ownership Company and chairman of Pluto Erhverv aps and the Pluto Nature Foundation. With a long-standing affiliation with Copenhagen Business School, Steen holds the Novo Nordisk Foundation Endowed Chair of Enterprise Foundation Governance, where research focuses on governance of enterprise foundations. Additional roles include CEO of Steen Thomsen Enterprise aps, research member of The European Corporate Governance Institute, and academic director of Bestyrelsesforeningen in Denmark. Co-founder and board member of Boardmeter, Steen also teaches Corporate Governance and Compliance at Chulalongkorn University. Steen Thomsen earned a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Copenhagen Business School and an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
