Juan Manuel B. began their education at Colegio San Miguel, where they completed their primary, secondary, and high school education from 1977 to 1992. Juan Manuel then attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 1992 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering. From 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at Duke University. In 2004, Juan Manuel B. attended Esade for Executive Business Education, completing a Corporate PMD program. Finally, in 2009-2010, they enrolled in the PDG program at IESE Business School for further Executive Business Education.
