David Caviness, CFP®, is a seasoned wealth manager and founder of Caviness Wealth Management, LLC since December 2006, dedicated to providing clear and results-driven financial advice to individuals and small businesses. With over 15 years of experience, David specializes in creating and implementing comprehensive wealth management strategies. In addition to his role at Caviness Wealth Management, David serves as a member of the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees since May 2017. Prior experience includes positions at RG Advisors, Inc. as a Sales Assistant and Financial Representative, and at Fidelity Investments as a Service Trader. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from East Texas A&M University, earned between 1996 and 2000, and graduated from North Lamar High School in 1996.

While the City of Coppell is just over 14 square miles, Coppell ISD encompasses more than 23 square miles. Within Coppell ISD boundaries, 63 percent of the district is comprised of the City of Coppell, 33 percent the City of Irving, 3 percent the City of Lewisville and 1 percent the City of Dallas (Cypress Waters).
