Feiyan Chen

Feiyan Chen is a seasoned Sr. Reservoir and Completion Engineer at Core Laboratories with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary Joint Industry Projects, including studies on various shale formations and tight gas reservoirs. Proficiencies include analyzing field and laboratory data to optimize horizontal well completions and production. Previously, Feiyan served as an R&D Manager, focusing on identifying new technologies and developing procedures for project advancements. Prior to Core Laboratories, Feiyan worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University, where innovative techniques for hydraulic fracturing in unconventional tight gas reservoirs were developed. Feiyan holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from The University of Kansas, a MS in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Xiamen University.
