Ami Shah

Ami Shah is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Compliance and Global Compliance Policies at Corebridge Financial since October 2022, also overseeing the Financial Crimes Group within the same domain. Prior to this role, Ami held various significant positions at AIG, including Head of Financial Crimes Group and Chief Compliance Officer for Consumer Distribution (US) from December 2016 to October 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Director at Oyster Consulting, Chief Compliance Officer - Advisory at Cetera Financial Group, General Counsel at NEXT Financial Group, and Attorney at both Wilson Elser and Wilson Elser. Ami holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto.
