Evan Preponis

Evan Preponis currently serves as Chief Securities Counsel at Corebridge Financial since May 2025, following a tenure as Associate General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel at Acreage Holdings from November 2020 to May 2025. Prior to that, Evan practiced at Seward & Kissel LLP as an Associate from October 2009 to October 2020, specializing in corporate and securities law as well as M&A transactions. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law (2006-2009), a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Affairs from The George Washington University (2002-2006), and study at the China University of Political Science and Law (2008-2009).
