Colin Frayn

Colin Frayn is a highly experienced Senior Quantitative Developer at Coremont, specializing in equities and commodities pricing since January 2022. Prior to this role, Colin served as the Pre-Trade Pricing Lead for Equity Derivatives at Citi and held the position of Vice President in IT for Equity Derivatives at Barclays Investment Bank, focusing on risk and valuations technology. Colin's earlier experience includes roles at Netcraft Ltd. as a Research & Development Programmer, contributing to customer projects and market research, along with a position as a Research Fellow at CERCIA, University of Birmingham, where Colin developed technology interfaces between academia and business. Colin was also a Senior Engine Developer for the ChessBrain Project, which achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest distributed computer. Colin holds both a PhD and an MA in Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge.
