Greg Maki has an extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance engineering. Greg started their career in 2000 at 3Com, where they worked as a Senior SQA and Automation Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for software qualification, interoperability testing, and test automation of various networking equipment such as switches, routers, wireless equipment, VOIP equipment, and firewalls. Greg worked at 3Com for eight years before moving on to Ciena in 2008.
At Ciena, Greg worked as a Senior SVT Engineer, where they contributed to the testing and qualification of the company's products. After a year at Ciena, they joined Top Layer Security in 2009 as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, they were involved in the software and hardware qualification and test automation of sophisticated Intrusion Prevention (IPS) and DDoS prevention systems. Greg worked closely with customers from service providers, municipalities, educational institutions, and online gaming industries. Greg's time at Top Layer Security lasted until 2011 when they joined Corero Network Security.
