Brian Werts has six years of experience in the field of high performance computing (HPC). Brian began their career in 2016 as an HPC Student Systems Administrator at Purdue University. Brian was then promoted to HPC Student Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying an IDS cluster. Brian was also tasked with building and configuring a Kafka data-broker and a Elacticsearch data-indexing cluster. Additionally, they developed and maintained deployment automation and configuration management with xCAT and Puppet. In 2022, they joined Cornelis Networks as an HPC Systems Engineer.
Brian Werts attended Ivy Tech Community College from 2017 to 2019, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Server Administration.
