Matteo Calabrese is currently a Research Assistant at Cornell University, focusing on space cybersecurity, autonomy, and resilience within the Aerospace ADVERSARY Lab. Previously, Matteo served as a Mentee at LeadTheFuture Mentorship, selected from a highly competitive group of Italian students in STEM. Matteo has experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Aalto University, as well as web management roles for Poli@Law and FareCentro, where website recovery and renovation were key responsibilities. Additionally, Matteo has worked as an IT Consultant at Studio Legale Mantini e Associati and completed a Bachelor’s thesis at Thales Alenia Space on anomaly prediction for LEO satellites. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Systems Engineering from Cornell University, a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the SECCLO Programme, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity from Università degli Studi di Milano.
