Previously, Monica held roles such as Chief of Staff and Chief Communications Officer at the University of Pennsylvania, Executive Director of Strategy, Communications, and External Affairs, and Executive Director of Communications and External Affairs. Before transitioning into higher education, Monica was a Metropolitan Columnist and Staff Writer at the Philadelphia Inquirer, as well as a Television Critic at the Tampa Bay Times. Monica is also a published author and holds a Master of Science in Organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
