Cornish College of the Arts
Deborah Treen came to Cornish from CFO Selections where she provided Consulting CFO services for a variety of clients, including a local private school. She led that school’s team to obtain financing for a $15 million award-winning new campus. Her career began in public accounting as a CPA in Washington, after which she spent 17 years in the insurance industry. Prior to joining CFO Selections, she had served as CFO of Neptune Society, the largest cremation company in the nation with 36 offices in 13 states, and Smart Cremation, a west coast start-up.
Treen was elected twice to the Bothell City Council and served as Mayor for two years. More recently she served as Chair of the Northwest Kidney Centers Foundation Board where she continues to volunteer.
