Beth Walsh

VP, System Strategies at Corporation for Public Broadcasting

Beth Walsh serves as Vice President, System Strategies. In her role, she oversees the management of all System Development and Media Strategy grants, organizing system-wide strategic planning initiatives focused on digital media and the future of public media, including analysis and research of ATSC 3, public media’s current and potential role in public safety, and other projects focused on station health. In addition, her portfolio includes oversight and management of the station and system data collected in the Integrated Station Information System, including the station activities surveys (SABS/SAS).

Most recently, Beth was the Director of Client Insights at comScore, providing digital insights to clients in the wireless, cable and technology space. Beth has a long career in public media, serving as Senior Director of Research at PBS, where she launched the first full-time national Nielsen service for public television, developed the operations for PBS’s first-ever cross-platform measurement service to incorporate digital media, and oversaw all local Nielsen, market research and station survey activity. Beth began her work in public media at WGBH managing the TV Viewing Lab, an innovative research facility funded by CPB.

Beth holds an M.S. in Broadcast Administration from Boston University.
