Dr. White brings over 15 years of experience developing and commercializing advanced MRI and CT diagnostic imaging technologies. Before joining Cortechs.ai, Nate was co-founder and CEO of HealthLytix – a healthcare technology startup applying genetics and medical imaging AI for early cancer detection (acquired by Cortechs.ai). While at HealthLytix, he rapidly grew the business to introduce two FDA-cleared software applications into the marketplace within its short two-year history. Prior to HealthLytix, Nate was Assistant Professor of Radiology and Director of Imaging Technology at the Center for Translational Imaging and Precision Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, where he invented several MRI technologies that were subsequently licensed and commercialized by GE Healthcare. In addition, Nate co-invented a novel non-invasive MRI technique for cancer imaging called Restriction Spectrum Imaging MRI (RSI-MRI), which now serves as the basis for Cortechs.ai’s oncology imaging platform. Nate is a passionate and experienced technology leader and serial entrepreneur with degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Cognitive Science. Nate has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and holds five patents.
