David Kane

David Kane has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. David started their career as a Student Mechanical Engineer at ESB International in 2005. David then worked as a Student Design Engineer at Weatherford in 2007, where they were involved in research and development for pipeline pigging.

In 2008, David joined Baker Hughes as a Drilling Engineer, where they were responsible for the design, engineering, and operation of oil and gas wells. David also worked as a Wellbore Positioning Specialist, focusing on sales and after-sales provision of advanced wellbore positioning services.

From 2017 to 2021, David worked at Vivino as a Back End Engineer, contributing to various key projects such as the Wine Preferences Profile back end, Wine sentiment signal processing system, and Match For You AI recommendation system back end.

In 2021, David joined Estaid as a Senior Backend Developer, working with technologies like Kubernetes, Apollo federated GraphQL microservices, PostgreSQL with PostGIS, and ElasticSearch.
