Zoar Engelman has a diverse work experience in the fields of biomedical research and technology. Zoar is currently the Founder and Chief Science Officer at Deerfield Catalyst since January 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Science Officer at Coridea, LLC starting from July 2016. In addition, Zoar also founded and held the role of Chief Science Officer at Corvent Medical Inc, Axon Therapies Inc., and EP SCIENCES, LLC.
Zoar has also worked as the Director of Research at Cibiem, Inc. from June 2012 to June 2016. Before that, Zoar served as a Senior Biomedical Systems Engineer at Coridea NC1, Inc. from October 2011 to May 2012.
Zoar's early work experience includes being a Researcher and Doctoral Candidate at Auckland Bioengineering Institute from June 2006 to October 2011. Zoar also worked as a Research Assistant at both the Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute and the University of Utah in 2002.
Zoar Engelman pursued their education in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Zoar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah from 2000 to 2003. Zoar furthered their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2003 to 2005. Zoar Engelman's academic journey culminated with a PhD in Bioengineering from The University of Auckland, which they earned from 2006 to 2011.
