George Ormerod

George Ormerod is an experienced fashion industry professional with a strong background in pattern design and team leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Pattern at COS since September 2022, George leads a diverse team across various categories, focusing on integrating in-house pattern teams into the design and development process. Previously, as the Head of Collections at Casablanca Paris from November 2018 to January 2022, George managed multiple teams to deliver high-quality products while collaborating closely with the founder and CEO. Additional roles include Designer Manager at Jasper Conran, Head of Design for Pre Collections at Mary Katrantzou, Senior Creative Pattern Cutter at Stella McCartney, and various creative positions in pattern cutting and design. George holds an MA and BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from Central Saint Martins, where also served as a visiting lecturer.
