Sharol Alfaro

Sharol Alfaro has extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving at COSEVI since September 2017 as both a Specialist in Information Security and a Technological Project Engineer, Sharol is responsible for gathering information requirements for project formulation and conducting relevant studies such as cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments. Previously, from August 2011 to July 2019 at Telefónica, Sharol held various roles including Specialist in Value-Added Services, Strategic Projects Coordinator for Central America, and Roaming Manager, focusing on the implementation of platforms and coordination of strategic projects. Sharol started a career in technical support at IE S.A. from March 2007 to April 2009, providing maintenance and troubleshooting for computer systems. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies for Business Management from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Americana.
