Hilko Prahl has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Hilko began their career in 1992 with Commerzbank AG, where they underwent vocational training and worked as a Bankkaufmann until 1994. Hilko then joined Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH as a part-time Sales employee from 1997 to 1998.
In 1998, Hilko Prahl interned at Siemens Furnas Control. Hilko later took on various roles at Lufthansa, working part-time in Flight Services from 1994 to 1999.
From 2000 to 2002, Hilko Prahl served as the Assistant to the Managing Board (COO) at Lorenz Bahlsen Snack-World Holding GmbH & Co KG. Hilko then became a Junior Export Sales Manager at The Lorenz Bahlsen Snack-World GmbH & Co KG in 2002.
Hilko Prahl was later appointed as the Regional Export Manager at Erdal-rex GmbH from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they joined cosnova GmbH in 2007 as a Key Account Manager International. Hilko then progressed into more senior roles, including Sales Director North-East Europe, Sales Director Western Europe & CIS, Sales Director Europe, and finally Chief Sales Officer (General Manager) from 2015 to present.
Hilko Prahl attended IMD from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration degree. Hilko completed their Bachelor of International Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Applied Science / Fachhochschule Wiesbaden between 1995 and 1999. In 1998, they also studied Economia e commercio at Università degli Studi di Firenze. In addition to their degrees, Hilko Prahl obtained a certification in (Executive) Master of Business Administration from IMD Business School in June 2015.
